  1. Open the Find My app or Sign in to iCloud
  2. Select Your AirPods Case
  3. Locate Your Case

Unfortunately, this feature is only available for AirPods Pro 2. For other AirPods models, including the original AirPods and AirPods Pro, the case does not have wireless technology to communicate its location to your phone. In this case, you’ll need to search for the case manually by retracing your steps and checking common areas where you might have left it.

How to Find an AirPods Case with the Find My App:

  1. Activate Find My Network: Before using the Find My app, ensure it’s activated in Settings by turning on Find My Network.
  2. Open Find My App: Locate and open the Find My app on your iOS device (iOS 13 or later).
  3. Access Devices List: In the Find My app, tap on “Devices” to see a list of your connected Apple devices, along with their locations on a map.
  4. Select your AirPods Pro 2: Locate your AirPods Pro 2 in the list of devices. It should indicate whether they are outside the case or show the distance in miles.
  5. View AirPods Location: Tap on your AirPods Pro 2 to view a screen that shows the case and the location of each individual AirPod (left and right) on the map.
  6. Locate your case: Select the case to highlight its location on the map. This will also open a new screen with options.
  7. Use Find My Features: From the options, you can choose to Play a Sound to locate your AirPods if they’re nearby and in Bluetooth range. You can also use the Find feature to be guided towards them. Additionally, you can mark it as lost if you believe your AirPods case is truly lost.
