DAAD 2024 University Winter Courses in Germany for Foreign Students and Graduates

Eligibility: This scholarship is available for students, graduates, and doctoral candidates. It covers language and regional studies courses offered by state or state-recognised German universities and affiliated language schools. The courses are conducted entirely in German.
Important Note: Please note that applying simultaneously to this programme and the ‘University Winter Courses Online for Foreign Students and Graduates’ is not allowed. Doing so will lead to exclusion from both application processes.

Duration: The scholarship is valid for up to 6 weeks. The courses usually take place from January to February.
Application Requirements:
- Open to students, graduates, and doctoral candidates from any subject area.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least two academic years when the scholarship period starts.
- Students in their final year of study can apply if they plan to pursue a postgraduate study shortly after completing their undergraduate degree (provide a letter of confirmation from your university as proof).
Selection Criteria: Applicants will be assessed based on their previous academic achievements and a compelling letter of motivation explaining their choice of study programme and future academic project.
